What to Expect

Road Closure

New Zealand often experiences road closures. Alternative routes may take more time, so please plan your journey in advance to arrive on time.

Credit/Debit Card

A refundable security deposit may be required by hotels during check-in, payable by a valid Credit/Debit card.

Car Rental

Please bring your physical Malaysian Driving License (English translated) or IDP. Registered Driver required to present a valid credit card for security reasons during the car rental pick-up.

Hotel/Motel

Due to frequent hotel transfers, we recommend packing lightly for your convenience. Some hotels may not have a 24/7 receptionist, please call the hotel number provided for late check-in.

Luggage Capacity

Please bring max 1 luggage for 1 pax as it will affect car capacity & please do not exceed 20kg baggage Domestic Flight Allowances.

Exclude Meals

Exclude Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Halal restaurants in New Zealand usually open later in the day and close earlier. Please manage your meal time accordingly.

Fuel/Diesel

Please refuel the vehicle using the fuel or diesel type specified by the car rental company, as indicated on the fuel label. Incorrect refueling will incur a penalty charge.

Car Parking

Parking fees are not included. Please note that street parking in New Zealand CBD areas is strictly prohibited. Kindly use the designated parking areas.

Long Haul Road Trip

Some destinations might require a 4-5 hours journey of road trip. Toilet break & Coffee break is recommended. Alternate Driver registration highly recommended.
